A quick answer to the question we get asked most: will I be charged anything extra once my contact lenses arrive?

What is GST?

Jersey charges its own Goods and Services Tax (GST), currently 5% — separate from UK VAT. It's not unusual to see parcels from off-island retailers held by Jersey Customs pending a GST payment before delivery. (Rates can change — gov.je has the current figure.)

Will I be charged extra on a contactlenses.je order?

We're based right here in Jersey, at Haut de L'Orme, Rue du Haut de L'Orme, Trinity, Jersey, JE3 5FP. If Jersey Customs ever do contact you about GST on an order placed with us, just let us know and we'll take care of it for you — that's a standing commitment, not something you need to chase us for.

Delivery

Free local delivery across Jersey on orders over £50. Orders under £50 — a flat £4.95 local delivery charge.
